海洋生物圈整合研究（IMBeR, Integrated Marine Biosphere Research）國(guó)際研究計(jì)劃致力于全球變化影響下海洋可持續(xù)發(fā)展的多學(xué)科、跨學(xué)科的綜合研究。2020年，華東師范大學(xué)與IMBeR合作，共同設(shè)立IMBeR國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)）。IMBeR國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)）與IMBeR國(guó)際辦公室（加拿大）分擔(dān)行政職責(zé)，同時(shí)在組織和推動(dòng)IMBeR科學(xué)計(jì)劃的重要學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)和倡議方面緊密合作。在促進(jìn)IMBeR的學(xué)術(shù)推廣方面，IMBeR國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)）重點(diǎn)服務(wù)于亞太、中東和非洲地區(qū)。該辦公室現(xiàn)公開(kāi)招聘項(xiàng)目干事一名，能夠勝任數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)管理工作，工作地點(diǎn)位于華東師范大學(xué)河口海岸學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。

崗位職責(zé)：

1.負(fù)責(zé)IMBeR研究項(xiàng)目和文獻(xiàn)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)的數(shù)據(jù)管理與優(yōu)化、搭建用戶(hù)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)；

2.協(xié)助IMBeR活動(dòng)信息數(shù)據(jù)（例如通過(guò)會(huì)議和暑期班的注冊(cè)表、問(wèn)卷調(diào)查等獲取的數(shù)據(jù)）的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化采集和管理；

3.協(xié)助收集、分析和展示可以衡量或記錄IMBeR更廣泛影響力的數(shù)據(jù)；

4.協(xié)助IMBeR國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)）戰(zhàn)略主任和副主任組織協(xié)調(diào)國(guó)際會(huì)議，包括會(huì)議宣傳、會(huì)務(wù)安排、準(zhǔn)備會(huì)議報(bào)告等交付內(nèi)容；

5.協(xié)助編輯IMBeR宣傳資料，例如簡(jiǎn)報(bào)、海報(bào)、演示文稿、宣傳冊(cè)、短視頻等；

6.協(xié)助國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)），與國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（加拿大）合作，為IMBeR科學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)提供行政與后勤支持。

任職要求：

1.具有海洋科學(xué)、地理學(xué)等相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)博士學(xué)位，有國(guó)際化和多元文化環(huán)境下的學(xué)習(xí)或工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

2.掌握數(shù)據(jù)管理軟件，包括GIS、網(wǎng)絡(luò)服務(wù)和數(shù)據(jù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)；

3.具有出色的中英文書(shū)面和口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力（多數(shù)為英文工作環(huán)境）；

4.具有優(yōu)秀的溝通和人際交往能力：能夠有效地對(duì)內(nèi)對(duì)外匯報(bào)工作進(jìn)展與問(wèn)題，能夠輔助線(xiàn)上會(huì)議；

5.具有出色的組織能力和問(wèn)題解決能力，能夠同時(shí)處理多項(xiàng)任務(wù)，按時(shí)完成交辦的工作。

優(yōu)先考慮對(duì)象：

1.有興趣使用開(kāi)源傳感器和軟件（例如智能手機(jī)）設(shè)計(jì)簡(jiǎn)便的、低成本的海洋（生物）觀(guān)測(cè)工具；

2.具有數(shù)據(jù)和/或數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)管理及數(shù)據(jù)遷移經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

3.熟悉制作編排軟件，如：Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Corel VideoStudio等；

4.有學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)策劃和協(xié)調(diào)的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

薪資待遇：

本崗位實(shí)行年薪制，年薪為15至20萬(wàn)元人民幣，具體視個(gè)人能力和資歷而定；按照學(xué)校和上海市規(guī)定，享受學(xué)校提供的其他福利保障。如為應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生，應(yīng)在2022年8月1日前獲得博士學(xué)歷與學(xué)位。

We are seeking a Project Officer for the IMBeR International Project Office in Shanghai, China

The Integrated Marine Biosphere Research (IMBeR) project is an international research initiative focused on integrated multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research working towards sustainable oceans at a time of global change. In 2020, IMBeR and the East China Normal University (ECNU) jointly established an international project office, the IMBeR International Project Office (IMBeR IPO-China), to share administrative responsibilities while collaborating closely on major activities and initiatives of the IMBeR Science Plan with IMBeR IPO-Canada. IMBeR IPO-China also promotes IMBeR in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and African regions. IMBeR and ECNU are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Project Officer, with the ability to contribute to the IMBeR data platforms, to work at the IMBeR IPO-China located at the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research, ECNU, Shanghai, China.

Tasks include:

1. Contributing to assessing and streamlining the data flow from IMBeR research projects and the publication database to users.

2. Assisting with the standardization of collection and management of data from IMBeR’s activities (e.g., through registration forms for conferences and summer schools, and through post-event surveys).

3. Assisting with the collection, analysis, and presentation of data that can measure/record the broader impact of IMBeR.

4. Assisting the Strategy Director and Deputy Director of the IPO-China with organization and coordination of international conferences and meetings, including meeting promotion, logistical arrangements, preparing meeting reports and deliverables.

5. Assisting with the development of IMBeR communication tools (e.g., newsletters, posters, presentations, brochures, short videos, etc.).

6. Assisting the IPO-China in cooperation with the IPO-Canada to provide logistical and administrative support for the IMBeR Scientific Steering Committee.

Basic requirements:

1. Ph.D. degree in marine science, geography, or related field, and experience studying or working in international and multicultural environments;

2. Knowledge of data management software, including GIS, webservices and data standards;

3. Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written (mostly working in an English-speaking environment);

4. Good communication skills: ability to report on progress and issues in an effective manner internally and externally; ability to facilitate virtual meetings;

5. Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving ability with a capacity to multitask, deliver on allocated tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferential requirements:

1. Willingness to devise simple low-cost ocean (organism) observing tools using open source sensors and software (e.g., smart-phone);

2. Experience in data and/or database administration as well as data migration;

3. Knowledge of illustrative and editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Corel VideoStudio);

4. Previous experience in academic event planning and coordination.

Salary:

The salary will be around 150,000-200,000 in CNY per year, depending on the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience that the candidate brings to the role. In addition, medical insurance and other welfare benefits are provided in accordance with ECNU regulations and Shanghai local policy. Applicants in the final year of their PhD, need to graduate by 1 August 2022 to qualify for consideration.
