6.Academic Affairs Department——Academic Coordinator
Primary Purpose
Under the direction of the Deputy Director, Academic Office, the Academic Coordinator is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating support services, training initiatives and projects, and overseeing academic operations within the Academic Office.
Academic Coordinator designs, implements, and facilitates Faculty support services. They oversee all Faculty support initiatives from training, resources and operations manuals to communication and collaboration with colleges and schools. They create effective and efficient administrative systems for controls and procedures. Working with the Deputy Director, Academic Office, the Academic Coordinator ensures proper enforcement of academic standards related to Faculty responsibilities.
Specific Responsibilities
Academic Operations & Support
Manages maintenance of course content/course loads in Learning Management System
Supports Faculty with course content updates, maintenance, and training
Manages systems’ maintenance, updates, and templates following best practice and trains faculty as needed
Manages course repository records, updates Master files, and trains Faculty as needed
Liaises and coordinates with external partners on behalf of Academic Office as needed
Assists faculty with account related issues and conducts training where required
Plans, schedules, and facilitates faculty workshops and training
Participates in New Faculty Orientation, On Campus Orientation, and other onboarding activities as required
Handles escalated problems and conflicts concerning Academic Affairs when related to Faculty and students, or refers to Deputy Director as required
Communication & Collaboration
Collaborates and communicates with Colleges/Schools at QCU regarding updates, information, and processes that affect their department
Maintains collaborative relationships with Dean’s Office, Faculty, and staff
Responds to or redirects student enquiries according to needs
Ensures applicable academic policies and procedures are followed by academic department staff and faculty
Collaborates with departmental stakeholders to ensure cohesive and successful academic operations
Keeps key stakeholders up to date on academic operations and changes
Participates in departmental meetings or any other required meetings as scheduled
Conducts outreach to other departments when necessary

Tracks, maintains and analyzes all Academic Office data related to Faculty activities

7.Academic Affairs Department——Student Advisor
Primary Purpose
This position serves as the first point of contact for student support services at all QCU campuses, providing efficient and effective support for students. The Student Advisor provides guidance to students on multiple matters, such as QCU services, referring learning resources, and other matters related to student success.
As an advocate for student affairs and provider of student services that will support student success, the Student Advisor is responsible for maintaining high quality student support and excellent support services that encourages students to take ownership in resolving their queries as well as focusing on student empowerment.
Specific Requirements
Responsible for in-person support at QCU campuses;
Provides advising services professionally and with empathy, anticipates student needs, proactively responds to student requests, provides recommendations extending beyond a student’s presenting request and finds opportunities to coach students toward independence and self-direction;
Provide accurate student referrals towards campus resources, encourages students take ownership of their concerns and challenges;
Contribute to the development and delivery of student upskilling programs;
Initiate, draft and streamline student behavioral or other related policies and procedures;
Provide guidance, support, and advice on a range of issues, including, but not limited to university policies and procedures and other information as required to students;
Communicate and collaborate with the relevant departments as well as internal & external stakeholders to ensure an appropriate flow of information and the smooth operations;

職位概述:學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量保障專員負(fù)責(zé)監(jiān)督和管理大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量和標(biāo)準(zhǔn),確保學(xué)術(shù)課程和教學(xué)方法達(dá)到并保持高標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
主要職責(zé):
1.質(zhì)量監(jiān)控和評(píng)估
(1)審查和評(píng)估人才培養(yǎng)方案、課程和教學(xué)方法,確保它們滿足國(guó)家和學(xué)校的學(xué)術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
(2)定期進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)審核,識(shí)別潛在的質(zhì)量問(wèn)題并提出建議。
2.數(shù)據(jù)管理和報(bào)告
(1)收集、分析和報(bào)告有關(guān)學(xué)術(shù)表現(xiàn)的數(shù)據(jù)。
(2)跟蹤并報(bào)告學(xué)術(shù)改進(jìn)的進(jìn)度。
3.教學(xué)支持
(1)與教師和教育部門合作,提供有關(guān)課程設(shè)計(jì)、教學(xué)方法和學(xué)術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的建議和反饋。
(2)組織和參與教師培訓(xùn)和工作坊,以提高教學(xué)質(zhì)量。
4.政策和程序
(1)協(xié)助制定和修改學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量保障政策和程序。
(2)確保學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量保障政策和程序得到有效實(shí)施。
5.與外部機(jī)構(gòu)合作
(1)與相關(guān)的外部質(zhì)量保障機(jī)構(gòu)合作,確保學(xué)校滿足所有外部要求。
(2)準(zhǔn)備和提交必要的報(bào)告和文件,以滿足外部審核和評(píng)估的需要。
6.其他職責(zé)
(1)對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)問(wèn)題進(jìn)行研究,為學(xué)術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)提供建議和建議。
(2)參與學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量保障相關(guān)的項(xiàng)目和特殊任務(wù)。

11.教務(wù)處-教學(xué)內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)專員
職位概述:教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)師負(fù)責(zé)開(kāi)發(fā)和設(shè)計(jì)高效、吸引人的教育材料、課程和學(xué)習(xí)體驗(yàn)。他們與學(xué)科專家、教育者和多媒體專家合作,創(chuàng)建高質(zhì)量的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。
主要職責(zé):
1.課程設(shè)計(jì)與開(kāi)發(fā)
(1)與學(xué)科專家合作,確定學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)和目標(biāo)。
(2)設(shè)計(jì)和開(kāi)發(fā)教學(xué)材料,包括教案、課程內(nèi)容、評(píng)估和多媒體元素。

3.協(xié)作與溝通
(1)與教育者、培訓(xùn)師和多媒體專家密切合作,確保與學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)的一致性。
(2)有效與相關(guān)者溝通,以獲取反饋并將修訂納入教學(xué)材料。
(3)與技術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)合作,將學(xué)習(xí)管理系統(tǒng)和其他工具整合。
4.評(píng)估與評(píng)價(jià)
(1)制定評(píng)估、測(cè)驗(yàn)和作業(yè),衡量學(xué)習(xí)者的理解和知識(shí)保留情況。
(2)分析學(xué)習(xí)者績(jī)效數(shù)據(jù),識(shí)別改進(jìn)領(lǐng)域并對(duì)內(nèi)容和設(shè)計(jì)進(jìn)行必要調(diào)整。
5.質(zhì)量保障
(1)審查和編輯教學(xué)材料,確保準(zhǔn)確性、清晰度和與學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)的一致性。

12.Center of Innovation for Education and Reserch (CIER)-Administrative Assistant
Tentative Role: Innovation Center Administration and Liaison Officer
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The full time administration and liaison officer at the Center of Innovation for Education and Research (CIER) will arrange, coordinate, and manage activities/events, regular reporting, daily services and support, collaboration and networking of the Center at Qingdao City University (QCU). The candidate must adhere to the QCU’s target plan and KPIs and be a good communicator and collaborator.
The candidate must be able to respond to enquires of both staff and students, in person, by phone, or by email, in a timely manner. The main responsibilities of the role include:
Being able to liaise with the Student Services, the Student Activity Center, the Student Associations, and relevant teams, to coordinate and support learning programs and student support programs under the Center’s plan to enhance teaching and learning innovation at QCU;
Being able to coordinate staff and student training programs of the Center at QCU;
Being able to coordinate and manage proposed activities and events of CIER at the university level and in collaboration with other units (Departments/Schools, Centers, and Colleges) at QCU;
Being able to conduct necessary search for external funding opportunities, and supporting the team to prepare documentations for such application submissions;
Being able to search for suitable external partnerships and collaboration opportunities aligned with the strategic goals and KPIs of the Center and QCU;
Being able to act as a liaison officer with internal and external stakeholders to arrange and coordinate meetings, collaboration, networking, and partnerships;
Being able to handle reporting of the Center to both internal and external stakeholders, as well as to report regularly to the Director of the Center;
Being able to prepare and coordinate external collaboration and networking opportunities aligned with the Center’s plan for external and international research project acquisition, including the support to prepare proposal submissions to funding bodies at various levels;
Being able to translate and prepare documents when requested by the Director of the Center, in an accurate and timely manner;
Being able to organise and attend internal and external meetings and/or act as the representative of the Center in collaboration and networking events.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Preference will be given to applicants who have shown outstanding performance in administration and services support in academia and higher education, desirably with experience in an international or multi-cultural work environment.
